One of the new features on Caribbean Princess is the
300-square-foot LED screen above the center pool area.
The screen's brightness allows it to be used even during the daytime, "Movies under the Stars" is truly an event. Each evening, the lounges are arranged in rows and covered with special burgundy covers. A table is placed between every two lounges. Free popcorn is available, and the pizza and hamburger grills are open at the back of the pool area. Bar service is also available at normal prices. Entry is limited to ticket holders (they are free and may be reserved through the Princess Concierge). Princess has just committed to adding the screens to the other Grand-class ships in the Caribbean, but has not yet set a schedule for installation. |
